What this site is

DogSwap (dogswap.io) is a self-custodial front end for swapping the rune DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON (840000:3) against BTC through the DotSwap protocol on Nexus, settling on Bitcoin L1. We are a courier: the site fetches quotes, decodes exactly what a swap would do, shows it to you, and relays what you sign. Pricing and execution belong to the venue, and settlement belongs to Bitcoin.

DogSwap is built and run by volunteers from the DOG community. No company stands behind it, no one is paid to operate it, and it makes no promise a company would make.

What this site never does

What is yours

Your wallet, your keys, and your decisions. Read the review screen before you sign; it exists so that nothing leaving your wallet is a surprise. Whether swapping is lawful where you live, and what taxes follow from it, are yours to know and yours to handle. If your jurisdiction does not allow using a service like this, do not use it.

Execution, plainly

A quote is the venue's offer, valid for 35 seconds, and it is not a guarantee. The venue can refuse or fail a swap at submission; when that happens your signature was wasted and nothing moved. A swap is final only when Bitcoin confirms it, and once confirmed it cannot be reversed by us or by anyone. Network fees go to miners and are yours. The maker's fee is inside the quoted amount and shown on every quote; this site adds no fee of its own.

Part of most trades fills against a market maker run by the same team that runs this site. That, and everything else about who fills you, is spelled out in the disclosures.

Not advice

Nothing here is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The site quotes live prices and shows costs; it does not recommend trades, predict prices, or promise any outcome. $DOG's price can go anywhere, including to nothing, and no one here will ever tell you otherwise.

No warranty, and where our responsibility ends

The site is provided as is and as available. The venue, the Bitcoin network, wallets, and the public data services this site reads can each fail, stall, or misbehave, and none of them are ours. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from trades, prices, market moves, venue or network failures, wallet behavior, or your own mistakes. What we owe you is honesty about what you are signing, and we take that debt seriously.

Fair use of the site

Do not use this site to break the law, and do not attack, scrape abusively, or impersonate it. The DogSwap name, mark, and site content are ours; the Bitcoin protocol and the rune identifiers are public facts and belong to no one.

Changes and contact

When these terms change, the date above changes with them, and material changes will be visible on the site itself. Questions belong at [email protected], the only support address we have.
